Abstract

The Information Security Research and Education (INSuRE) project has a two-fold mission. First is to build a persistent, distributed network of research collaboration between the Centers for Academic Excellence in Research (CAE-R) at different universities. No such formal framework for collaboration exists to date. The second mission is to provide students an opportunity to learn and perform research on problems of national security. INSuRE uses the HUBzero platform as a medium for research collaboration across projects and institutions. This talk describes the novel ways in which INSuRE is using the HUBzero platform.
