Abstract

An objective of the National Cancer Informatics Program at the National Cancer Institute is to facilitate open innovation and scientific collaboration in informatics to accelerate discovery in the cancer research community. The NCIP Hub is a HUBzero-based project and is intended to serve as an informatics marketplace for the biomedical informatics community supporting and performing cancer research. The intent is to support collaboration through the HUBzero platform’s capabilities, and to democratize access to this community’s data, tools, standards, and other resources. This talk is an overview of the NCIP Hub and some of the current initiatives.
