Biography
Since my Bsc Degree, my research on aquatic species (invertebrates and
teleosts) are focused on the study of the genetic structure of populations and on
the understanding of existing connections between genetic characteristics and
ecology / or physiology of individuals. More specifically, my research on
population biology and genetics include:
(i) the study of the
genetic structure of aquatic animals populations in connection with the
physicochemical components of their habitats,
(ii) the study of the
genetic structure of aquatic animals populations of commercial interest,
(iii) the search for
functional and positional candidate genes (QTL) characteristics of the
adaptation of aquatic animals to an environment.
