FTP server needed for Joomla install on hub?
I am installing the roll-your-own hub. I am up to section 1.7 of the documentation, CMS install. I have the Joomla installer up in my browser and I am at Step 6, FTP configuration. Joomla seems to think that I should have an FTP server on my HUB server and a user name and password that can access the server via ftp. Do I need to install an FTP server first? If so what package? Do I need to add a user with ftp access?
Any hints would be great. thanks!

You do not need to install an FTP server. The one that comes with Joomla has been reported to still work but in our installations we simply press the ‘Next’ button and skip over that section of the Joomla installation pages. We also do the same with LDAP.
