The code for the modules is available in the Debian package ‘hubzero-cms’, or in the virtual machine image.
The modules are contained in /modules/ path in the document root. Each folder in this path represents one module, and I believe they all have an accompanying XML install manifest.
That means that you can upload a tarball of the folder (or simply point the Joomla! installer at the folder, if it’s on the same local disk) to install the modules in a piecemeal fashion. (By Joomla! installer, I mean the page you get to by selecting “Extensions -> Install/Uninstall” from the back-end administration menu).
One caveat — we haven’t packaged the modules for individual use because they tend not to work individually, as they have dependencies on the rest of the platform.
