Is it possible to run filexfer with specific file names?
importfile can run prompting for specific file names or without using @REMOTE@.
Can filexfer be run so that when you click upload it prompts you to upload specific file names?

No, the program filexfer doesn’t take any arguments. It could be modified though and you can find the source in /apps/filexfer/filexfer.
