Mismatch in timezones?
In the "session" table of the db, "start" is 2014-12-11 15:38:30 which is the correct server time. It also matches the sysdate() of mysql.
However, in the "jos_users" table, my "lastVisitDate" is 2014-12-11 23:44:44, which would be correct in GMT ...

I'll have to look into that to be certain. The session table is a middleware table and the middleware may be writing localized timestamps there. The CMS tables all now write UTC timestamps in it's tables. I'll have to look into the consequences of that difference.
