Using HUBzero with VMware
Hi,
Our current site is on a dedicated server and we are considering migration to use HUBzero. We would like to use Virtual Machine in the next generation because of its robustness and ease of maintenance. I read that there are issues in using HUBzero with VMware in that there will be "significant performance and resource limitations in such an environment":

Would you please advise on this issue if we were to use VMWare (several VMs with load balancing) to run HUBzero?

If the VM is provisioned with sufficient resources it will work fine in that environment. The documentation was being conservative and addressing the tendancy of people to use underpowered VM instances when trying to run HUBzero instances.
