We recently installed a test instance of Hubzero in a VMWare ESX cluster. The guest OS is Debian 6 as suggested by HubZero. We gave the OS 8GB of RAM along with 4 vCPUs. This website suggests that there are performance constraints with running HubZero in a virtual environment:

We’re wondering what the details are in these performance constraints. Will our instance be suitable for production? Thanks very much for your help.
