I need to include the forum as a module on the front page. Is this possible?
I want to make casual visitors aware of the new discussions that are happening on the site wide forum. Ideally, I would like to have a module that shows the sections and categories, and perhaps the hotest topics, or latest entries. Failing that, just being able to embed the forum on the home page, but without taking over the whole page, i.e. including the forum component, would be fine.
Is this possible?

There is a mod_latestdiscussion module. I think thats what is displaying the discussion feed on the home page of http://molecularhub.org/
Variations on that theme wouldn’t be difficult to develop using that module as a guide.
