Will there be built-in social networking components in Hubzero ?

As written in the User-Guide: http://hubzero.org/documentation/1.1.0/users:

Be sociable with HUB groups! These tutorials show how to manage your own groups of friends and colleagues. ?

At now, there is no Tutorial in this place …

But the final question is are the “Groups” in Hubzero built for manage “my own groups of friends and colleagues” ?

Or should there something like a “Social Network Component” for manage “my own groups of friends and colleagues” ?
