Is hubzero template used in joomla 1.5 compatible with joomla 2.5?
We built out our hub using hubzero. Now we are thinking about upgrading our joomla from 1.5 to 2.5. We would like to know if the template is still compatible with joomla 2.5.

For the most part, yes, for the previous open source release. I can’t immediately recall any major issues we had when using the hubbasic template on a Joomla 1.7 site (despite the odd numbering, Joomla 2.5 is really more like Joomla 1.8—that is, there aren’t nearly as many functionality difference between 1.7 and 2.5 as there are between 1.5 and 1.7).
The next open source release will be Joomla 1.7 compatible (and, to our immediate knowledge, mostly 2.5 compatible) and available after our next Hubbub conference, September 24-25, 2012. More information about the conference can be found here:
