Where’s the technical discussions on the HubZero Platform and the future of

I’ve been really searching for some form of hubzero-devel mailing list where I can ask some sort of chief architect of the HubZero Platform some broader questions. These would consist of the following and more.

Considering the current landscape of Linux Container technology is HubZero going to stick by OpenVZ?

What are your plans to support newer/other distributions? Ubuntu? Debian 6.0? RHEL?

I don’t have an active forum for such discussion, we should add it to the new site design if it is not already. Submit a ticket and I’ll be happy to email you.

We have no immediate plans to transitition away from OpenVZ, some proof of concept work was done for supporting lxc a while back but we are pretty happy with OpenVZ.

A Debian 6 release will happen by Hubbub2012 (late September). RHEL6 support hopefully shortly thereafter. No plans for Ubuntu at the host level (OpenVZ support tends to be sketchy last I looked). Session containers will be Debian 6, I would like to support multiple container types in the future but it’s not on my schedule at this time.
